Express analytics: the Russian automotive market in June and January-June 2026. New passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and pickup trucks

In June 2026, sales of new cars, light commercial vehicles and pickups in Russia increased by 23% and amounted to 117,757 units, with 635,597 units sold in just six months, which is 11.7% more than in the same period in 2025.*

Sales totals for individual types of ATS:

• Passenger cars: June 2026 - 111,146 units (25.2%), January-June 2026 - 596,761 units (14.4%). Of these, electric vehicles (BEV): June 2026 - 734 units (-23.8%), January-June 2026 - 4,715 units (6.6%).
• Light commercial vehicles, including N1 trucks and M2 buses: June 2026 – 4,810 units (-12.6%), January-June 2026 – 29,580 units (-20.9%).
• Pickups: June 2026 - 1,801 units (26.3%), January-June 2026 - 9,256 units (-8.2%).
