This is like the triple threat to the shipping industry:
- Receipt: This is proof that the shipping company (carrier) has received the goods. Think of it as a store receipt, but it's just a receipt for international shipping.
- Details: It lists all information about the goods, such as type, quantity, and destination, similar to itemized shopping receipts.
- Contract: This is a simple agreement between you (the shipper) and the carrier, outlining the carrier's responsibility for safely transporting goods.
It can be regarded as a one-stop document for freight transport, crucial for the smooth and secure operation of international trade.
2.C&F
Cost plus freight; Sales terminology refers to the shipping price collected or quoted by the seller excluding insurance fees but covering all costs to the designated discharge port.
3.CIF
Cost, insurance, and freight charges; Sales terminology refers to the price the seller collects or quotes, including insurance and all other costs to the designated unloading port.
4. Liquidation agency
Individuals or companies authorized by international customs authorities responsible for certifying and managing inter-border freight. (That is, they handle customs clearance for your vehicle.)
5. Commercial invoice
Documents required by customs to determine the true value of imported goods and to assess duties and taxes.
6. Consignee
The "owner" of the vehicle after registration in the destination country.
7. DHL delivery address
excars.cn Used to deliver transport documents (rather than vehicles) to the delivery address of the vehicle buyer.
8.Y
Estimated arrival time; The date and time for the expected arrival of the designated city or port for air, sea, or rail travel.
9.ETD
Estimated departure time; Air, sea, or rail travel is expected to depart from designated cities or ports on dates and times.
10. Export certificate
Documents confirming the legal export of the listed items from the country of origin (i.e., the vehicle's previous registration in China has been cancelled).
11. Export license
Documents issued by Chinese customs to ensure goods comply with applicable export control measures.
12. FOB price
(1) excars.cn vehicle price and all domestic handling fees before loading or loading.
(2) Delivery on board; Sales terminology: The price the seller charges or quotes includes all costs for the goods before they are loaded onto the ship at the port of shipment.
13. Forwarding agents
Arranging shipments of goods from the port of discharge to the destination country for individuals or companies.
14. Import license
Documents issued by certain national governments permitting the import of goods.
15. Inspection certificate
It proves that the vehicle has passed the required pre-export inspection, thus meets the specified specifications, is in good condition upon departure from the port of transport, and the quantity is correct.
16. Insurance documents
Insurance proof for CIF cargo.
17. Notify the Parties
The shipping agent contacts personnel to provide confirmation of the arrival date of the cargo vessel at the port.
18. Packing list
Includes a breakdown list of quantities, descriptions, and weights of goods.
19. Port of departure
The departure point of the ship or cargo.
20. Unloading port
The location where the ship is unloaded and the goods are distributed to their respective recipients.
21. Pre-export inspection
Some countries require your vehicle to be inspected before export. If the car passes the inspection, we will issue a valid certificate detailing the vehicle identification number, brand, and model. If your destination requires this inspection, please consult us.
22. Pro forma invoice
A "final estimate" is provided in the form of an invoice based on the selected vehicle and transport terms.
23. Shipping Agency
The agency responsible for handling shipping and cargo at ports on behalf of shipping companies (i.e., representing shipping companies).
24.电放提单(Surrender BL)
This refers to the sender (exporter) applying to the shipping company to "waive" the original bill of lading (Original BL) as proof of ownership, instead electronically notifying the destination port to release the goods to the consignee (importer). Speeding up the pickup process to avoid delays or loss risks in mailing original bills of lading, especially suitable for short-haul shipping (such as short-haul routes from China to Southeast Asia and the Middle East).
In some cases, if the product ships quickly or the ETD is close to the ETA date, excars.cn will issue BL. In this case, the original BL will not be mailed. Instead, the electronic version of the surrendered BL will be sent to you by email. With this electronic version of the Surrendered BL, you can print it out to clear your products from the port.
25. Transfer
Cargo is transferred from one ship to another en route to its final destination.
