A total of 2.084 million cars were sold in China in June, CarNewsChina reported, citing data from the China Passenger Car Association.

The Chinese car market grew by 18.1% compared to the same month last year, and compared to May 2025 - by 7.6%.

Of the total number of cars sold in June, 1.1 million were hybrid and electric cars, their share reached 53.3%.

In general, according to the results of the first half of the year, sales in the Chinese car market amounted to 10.9 million cars, which is 10.8% more compared to the same period last year.

Statistics of the most popular models in China are distributed in different price categories - from the most affordable (up to 100 thousand yuan or up to 1.1 million rubles) to the most expensive (over 500 thousand yuan or 5.4 million rubles).
