The services will be able to synchronize with the Yandex ecosystem through Yandex ID, so GAC owners will have access to saved addresses, personal playlists and favorite tracks in Music and favorite audiobooks in Books. "The audience of Maps alone is 90 million active users," Yandex said. "Services will now be part of GAC vehicles. We will expand the list of brand models into which we integrate our platform."

The company added that in the future, other Yandex technologies will become available for GAC models, including voice control with a virtual assistant Alice.

GS8, which will be the first to receive Yandex services, is GAC's flagship crossover. Under the hood it has a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 231 horsepower, Transmission automatic with eight stages, and the drive is full, with an electromagnetic clutch Borg Warner.

In 2019, when GAC had just entered the Russian market, the GS8 became its first local model. In 2024, the second-generation model reached Russia, which is still on sale today. The crossover costs from 4,099,000 rubles for the basic configuration to 4,999,000 rubles for the special version of the Traveller (prices do not include discounts).
